Tag implication: humanization -> personification

While checking the doubutsu_no_mori tag, I noticed the use of the tag "humanization" as opposed to "personification" (i.e. post #1451581).

I was wondering about the relationship between the two tags and if humanization should imply personification, or if the two tags should remain separate.

Kabuichi is a cat with the ability to walk and talk this makes it already humanoid. Drawing it as a tall white human is humanization. A rock with the ability to talk would be personification.

I made the humanization tag in response to unapproved post #1431629, as personification really didn't seem appropriate given that Garrus Vakarian is already humanoid. At the same time I made the small edit to the personification wiki so that it said "When a non-human or non-humanoid character [...] is made human or humanoid" as opposed to it originally just saying "When a non-human character [...] is made a human."

Do you ever consult the community before creating tags of debatable worth?

So if a normal animal gets turned into a person it's personification, but if it walks on two legs and talks it's now humanization? I'm already seeing inconsistency. Maybe it's just me, but regardless if it's a rock, cat, machine, or alien, if it's not human and is now human, I would rather have all examples listed under one tag instead of racking my brain which is which.

Do what you want then. Delete it if you want. I won't defend my actions or argue on the matter.
