SUGGESTION: Is there a way to unequivocally find artists here by pixiv member id? I'd like for instance to search "3328583" in a field here and find if that pixiv artist is already tagged here.

You can't use the member id, but you can use the username. The username can be found in the url for the image, or in the staccfeed.
3328583 - source:pixiv/vacaloid/ - In this case, you've uploaded the only image so far by this particular pixiv artist. Though that doesn't necessarily mean the artist doesn't have a tag yet; they might upload to places other than pixiv.

When uploading from Pixiv, the suggestion Danbooru gives you under "Record" is rarely helpful and should usually be ignored. The one under the artist finder is more accurate, as long as artist entries are properly set up.

If you put the exact url http://www.pixiv.net/member.php?id=3328583 into the artist search by Name, it would return the proper artist with that id. But that's only if the artist entry is set up and that url is in it. So souryuu9's suggestion is generally more useful, as it searches the sources of posts instead.

That seems like a bad idea when there's already a different artist tagged under npa.
Maybe alias tissue_(pixiv) -> npa_(sirokurokuma) instead, where sirokurokuma is the artist's Pixiv username.

"Sera" is their nickname on Pixiv and their blog, and mrvles is still the Pixiv URL account name. What is KPJ11?
