Oekaki means "doodle" or "scribble", but it's a specific kind of art and looks as it does intentionally. A lot of people like the style, and sometimes I do too.

Tag it censored or uncensored (if there is anything that may be explicit, such as a penis or vagina.)

Censored should be used, but uncensored seems completely unnecessary. You should only use uncensored when the picture has had previous censorship removed (preferably by the original artist). If someone wants to remove censored images while searching something explicit, they can simply add '-censored' to the search.

On a related but opposite issue, I think all photoshopped scans/nudefiltered images should die. It is an alteration of an original work, which in all other cases is frowned upon here, but for some reason we look the other way with this. Furthermore, they're all awful (seriously, I've never seen one that looks natural). With all the porn out there, do we really need photoshopped Megami scans too? Bleh, anyway, personal pet peeve.

Lastly, I understand what surasshu said about "vintage" pics, but albert said it himself, he doesn't want real women, this site is not for that. So can we start deleting them all?

I'd love to delete them all, but as has been said, not deleting "vintage" stuff en masse has been the policy (as stated by albert too, I think). If someone flags or comment bumps old crappy images though, I often will delete them. Bringing attention to them just makes new posters think it's legit to upload more because "there's so much of it already!"

I super agree with this to the 20th power.

I don't know if you can say they're all awful. If we define high-scoring posts to be ones that have a score of 30 or higher, then there are 2 pages of high-scoring nude_filter posts, out of 27 pages (7.4%). This is only slightly below average for explicit posts (8.0%), and far better than the site average (2.8%).

Personally, I thought post #260721 was a good one.

I agree that explicit posts generally are scored above average, that's why I included the separate figure for explicit content.

I personally think that a 7.4% score is pretty good, seeing as how many nude_filters never appear on the posts page. I'll also note that we have many other tags with lower high-scoring percents (tentacles has 7.1%, for example).

My only point is that nude_filter posts are on-topic, and seem to be liked by people about as much as other similar posts, so I don't see why they should be banned.

I think there should be a way to find images that have been edited into English and don't have the originals as parent. Any objection to a "hardsub" tag?

Unless that's a pool. I guess those are only for images where there's a point to having next/previous?

Wouldn't it have been better to have consolidated it under finger_pointing since it had almost double the posts that pointing had?

I'm probably just over thinking it, but pointing seems to me slightly more ambiguous than finger_pointing since you could have something pointing that isn't a person's finger. Frankly all I can think of besides characters pointing would be something like a dog pointing, but *shrug* there is a slight potential that other things could end up in the mix.

Exactly, that's a good thing. "finger pointing" is bound to be such a huge majority of "pointing" that it's better to just tag it as "pointing", imo. That "finger pointing" had more posts is not really a good argument for preferring it over "pointing". If there were an image of a dog pointing, I'd prefer for it to be mixed into pointing than for whoever uploaded to not tag it at all because they noticed that all images with people pointing were specifically marked as being pointing with fingers. I'd then be able to search for, say "dog pointing".

What's the difference between "more common" and "more often used"? I guess you mean "pointing" is more commonly used in speech and "finger_pointing" is more commonly used on danbooru...?

Sorry, I'd like to say "pointing" is more ambiguous than "finger_pointing", as NWF_Renim said.
But your opinion is quite reasonable. Thank you!

I'm surprised the only tag relating to age is "loli". Wouldn't tags like "teen" (12<age<18) and "mature" (age>30) be of interest? Well, I suppose not since they're not used.. Besides, assessing the age of an anime character can be quite subjective. But I might start using these tags anyway if there's no objection.

Please do not start these tags. It has been discussed before a couple times, but we have decided not to use them. Also, loli isn't the same type of tag as a 'teen' or 'mature' would be, as loli is used exclusively for sexual images of young looking female characters. It would not cover all images with young looking females let alone all young characters, nor does it necessarily represent age - it can be used for 600 year old demons who *look* young giving blowjobs, or whatever.
