Plural to Singular alias request thread

earmuffs -> earmuff

I'll go with natural pair for earmuffs and alias to plural.

rubbing_eyes <--> rubbing_eye

Eye_rub is already aliased to the former, but rubbing only one eye seems to be very common with this tag.

Will stick with eyes in this case, done.

ice_cubes -> ice_cube

Done

Aliasing maraca -> maracas

goggle_on_head -> goggles_on_head

cookie_cutters -> cookie_cutter

not sure of the latter's direction

Shouldn't the objects better be referred to as screws or qualified? Screw is pretty broad in meaning, such as the action, or the screw simple machine that may be included in a variety of devices that aren't simply fasteners.

Maybe, but it hasn't been a problem yet at least. From what I can see, the 150+ posts tagged screw are all of the fastener, and I think it would sound unnatural for screw to refer to anything else. The action would be screwing and I don't think other machines would be tagged as screw unless they also had the fastener.
