I think the precedent has already been set. However, I do at least partially agree with you; I think name-order aliases can be withheld until it becomes apparent that there is significant confusion on the issue, just like most other aliases should.
e.g.: If there are only 5 images tagged yuugi mutou, then just edit them to mutou yuugi, but if there are (random number) 100 or so, then an alias is in order.
Basically this, though I'll do it in this case only because it takes no extra effort when I'm copy/pasting. But in general, right, I won't do it in cases where there isn't a significant existing number of incorrectly tagged images. There's no need to put a lot of effort into giving a crutch for people who flip name orders.
Done:
create alias tristan_taylor -> honda_hiroto
create alias tristan_timothy_taylor -> honda_hiroto
create alias joey_wheeler -> jounouchi_katsuya
create alias joseph_wheeler -> jounouchi_katsuya
create alias tea_gardner -> mazaki_anzu
create alias yugi_moto -> mutou_yuugi
create alias melody_nosaka -> nosaka_miho
Also, T5J, you can leave periods and such off of the end of alias/implication lines. It's not that it takes me a long time to remove them, rather it can result in incorrect aliases if I don't notice the extraneous punctuation and copy/paste.
