These subjective pools are impossible to moderate and become favorites pools very fast.
Just take a look at the UI bars at the top of these posts: post #1032635 post #1032105 post #1032628 post #1032102 post #908406 Surely, most of you can tell that none of these images feature beautiful hair/smiles/eyes, but the userbase is notorious for wanting to add posts to as many pools as possible, proven by that one pool we once had about "images belonging to at least *** pools".
Now we have pools like: The Perfect Woman : Images which are in at least 6 hot/beautiful/perfect pools The Perfect Face : Images tagged face which are in at least 3 hot/beautiful/perfect pools
The result is the vip_quality tag (in pool form), of which we got rid of. In reality, feet order:score and legs order:score are much more reliable than their pool counterparts "hot legs"/"perfect feet". A single user can add an image "he likes" to such a pool and force his opinion on what is "perfect" on others. Of course, he can re-add that images as many times as he wants if others disagree with him. Score, on the other hand, relies on the large number of users (with rating privileges) to vote. Votes of the staff count double. (Works even better for the neck/nape tag)
Unfortunately, this method works only for body parts with tags dedicated to "images focusing on them". This doesn't work for "hair" and "eyes".
The hot [profession] pools are even more favorites pools. I don't care about Danialx21's favourite cowgirl pics collection.
We already make the distinction between good art and art not meeting danbooru's quality standards. Do we really need to make a collection for the "best of the best" and have people fight over why image x is (not) in pool y?
- I guess we should just make even more of those. How about "Perfect Anus", "Beautiful Penis" and "Hot Navel"? If we can still see the image under all those bars, then they are apparently not enough.
Yup, those need massive cutting. "The Perfect Woman" is pointless to begin with, but people seem to be adding posts to pools that don't fit them just to make them fit in that pointless pool.
I completely agree with S1eth and the reasons he's presented. None of these "Perfect" pools are any good simply because the majority of them are storage areas that the same users shovel posts into, putting little to no thought about what they put in the pool. The one exception I've noticed is Perfect Feet (pool #109), which has actually been maintained quite well over time.
But The Perfect Woman is the single worst of them for highlighting why these subjective pools are awful to begin with. Further indicated by users adding posts that don't even meet the silly criteria, and likely did so just based on the name of the pool itself.

There's been clear opposition to "The Perfect Woman" in this thread, and a concise argument posted by S1eth, so I've deleted it. It was a ridiculous pool and there was no reason for it to be kept around for this long.
i offer my support in nuking every single one of them. probably there will be more entries for "hot miko" and "hot kunoichi" and yet they don't have pools.
Chalk me down under agreement. I've never found these hot/perfect/beautiful pools to be useful, and S1eth has covered why I find these pools distasteful quite adequately. While I won't miss seeing these pools gone, I would keep the hair and eyes pools, simply because we don't tag hair and eyes themselves, as well as the feet pool, as Apollyon mentioned.
However, before everyone gets giddy and starts nuking shit all willy-nilly, I would wait at least 24-48 hours for a dissenting opinion or jxh2154 to sound in.
Personally I'd say to leave some of them and cut out others, particularly the more recent additions to the "Perfect X" family.
-Perfect Feet and Hands are still pool-worthy IMO because of how poorly feet and hands can come out - non-mangled hands and feet are definitely pool material. -As for Beautiful Eyes and Hair, I was under the impression those were for particularly complex eyes and the like, so those could stay - with the recent improper additions for this "Perfect Woman" pool trimmed out, of course. -And then finally Perfect Breasts and Ass seem to be for particularly shapely examples, and focus on a subject that viewers can easily evaluate, unlike something like a "perfect waist" that appears to be made up of any waist that... well, looks like a waist. Admittedly, though, this is a less defensible one, although it is also true that we don't have any way to tag well-shaped breasts and ass that typically goes into the pools.
"Hot X" on the other hand, I'm left unable to come up with any reason why they shouldn't be axed.

As much as I'd want to I can't keep up with everything Danielx21 started (these pools, the tag groups, etc.), so that might be your reason.

Score may work better overall but it doesn't work good enough to make the pools worthless. I have no time to browse pools but I do add posts when they are particularly well drawn. I think we should try to steer the focus pools this way, as quality is harder to argue on than hotness or other feelings.
We should probably limit the amount of "perfect" and "beautiful" pools to a set series, but outright deleting them? That's going too far.
At any rate, if we're going to make such changes the ability to make pools should become more limited, since more and more rules are being added to their creation and the vast majority of those likely to break those rules aren't likely to enter the forums to discuss things until after the pools get nuked.
Personally, though, I'd destroy most of the newer ones anyways. As much as I support subjective pools, we need a better layout for them so we don't get 500 headings to go through to see a single post.
Personally, I don't mind if all hot/perfect/beautiful pools will be deleted, but as other users have pointed out, some of them are actually not that bad and can be kept. So I think I'll agree with Hillside Moose(forum #69147) and Arrei(forum #69148).
Here is the list of all discussed pools (plus my opinion on them):
Perfect X: Perfect Hands(pool #73), Perfect Feet(pool #109) - guess we can keep these two. Perfect Ass(pool #1214), Perfect Breasts(pool #1677) - not sure, forum #69148 gives some arguments in their defence. Perfect Kissing(pool #2818) - dunno. Perfect Pussy(pool #4155), Perfect Waist(pool #4305), Perfect Neck(pool #4399) - delete. Perfect Harem(pool #4156), The Perfect Face(pool #4241, "A face having three qualities (i.e. being in three other pools) qualifies as "perfect" for this pool.") - were pointless to begin with, delete.
Beautiful X: Beautiful Hair(pool #782), Beautiful Eyes(pool #2032) - see forum #69147 for reasons why they can be kept. Beautiful Tails(pool #2399) - it is somewhat similar to pool #782 IMO. I think it deserves to stay, if Hair and Eyes pools will of course. Beautiful Smile(pool #3032) - dunno; Beautiful Dark Smile(pool #4470) - should be either merged with pool #3032 or deleted, relevant discussion in forum #68090. Beautiful Agony(pool #2197), Beautiful Sadness(pool #4276), Beautiful Anger(pool #4424) - del. Stoic Beauty(pool #3719), Serious Beauty(pool #4339) - delete too.
Hot X: Hot Legs(pool #1168) - should probably be treated same as Perfect Breasts and Ass pools. If we decide to keep it, it might be a good idea to also rename the pool, not sure though. Hot Waitress(pool #4175), Hot Teacher(pool #4236), Hot Nurse(pool #4237), Hot Maid(pool #4242), Hot Doctor(pool #4277), Hot Cowgirl(pool #4279), Hot Cop(pool #4280), Hot Bride(pool #4425) - del.
I intentionally prefaced with "new pools." Anything in the 4000 range should be gone 100%, anything under 2000 needs to be discussed before deletion but generally I'm fine with them staying. The middle is the only contentious part for me.

well if these lines still hold true (i hope i didn't take them out of context), then it's perfectly "legal" or justifiable the recent additions in the "Perfect body_parts" family. the precedent it seems is that there are existing body parts pools of similar nature. so it appears the future Perfect Scrotum, Perfect Kneepits, Perfect Birth Canal, etc are likely to stay?
personally, i like the pools in question to be taken down, though i admit, i have my own share of adding posts in some of those pools. but now that i look into it, the existence of these pools is prone to abuse. and it gave birth to somewhat redundant (and ridiculous even) ones (pool #4241 - The Perfect Face; Perfect Woman was already taken down at this moment).
as a normal user (with a normal monitor and browser window not set to maximum space) i find it hard (maybe not really but somewhat annoying) to view a post with a pile of grey bars on top that i still need to scroll down the mouse. there's a particular post that the grey bars are so thick + ads that they occupy my screen and i don't even see the image itself upon loading without scrolling. and further even if i need to edit that post. just my sentiments.
regarding the "Hot professions" i see no similar precedent (as of now). then, i would say this is a unique case in our time and i would reiterate my support in nuking them.
