Conversion from tag to pool: "when you see it"

I really think the tag when you see it should be converted to a pool.

The tagged images vary wildly from each other. They don't have a visual element in common, but only the criteria of "which may not be seen so easily or subtly hidden" and "[w]hen seen, it may come as a shock to the viewer".

These characteristics, including the relationship with a hypothetical viewer, are "poolworthy" material, comparable to "CANNOT UNSEE" and "Nightmare Fuel", albeit less disturbing than them.

Sounds reasonable to me.

More poolbars for a tag people are used to.

And I should add, I'm actually glad that some of these "funny" topics are tags rather than pools because it helps members remembering that all the activity of the site isn't around pools.

Nope, can't alias tags to anything but tags.

Making this a pool kind of removes any shock anyways. Yes, when you see the giant bar at the top of the screen you will spend all of your time looking for the hidden object.

Better than now maybe.
At any rate when_you_see_it works as a pretty objective concept. I don't think the sole fact of its friends being pools justifies a change.

Things that can be handled as a tag, should be a tag. Tags are far more useful than pools.

Pools should be used for things that need to be in a specific order, and for things that aren't taggable concepts.

I do think members' carefree and playful attitude with pools has affected the site in an overall negative way. But I wouldn't mention that if it was my only argument.
when_you_see_it belongs to tags in the first place because it's not related to what the viewer thinks of the image. So does troll_face, head_out_of_frame, or creepy, and so ought to do pools like pool:it's_dangerous_to_go_alone!_take_this., pool:no_panties? or pool:mutual_yuri.

I think the issue here is that various people have grown misunderstanding the use of pools because they're unaware of the actual reasons why some pools were made or exist.
