Invites

I cant access the Invites page. It asks for a username and password, but when i enter my username and password i get access denied.

Lazy feedback. It's most likely only available to mods and/or admins for the moment.

Thats exactly the reason I ask. It would be nice to know. If it has been stated before in another forum post could someone direct me?

The invites link is gone from the "my account" page too. So that's probably it.

In the FAQs it says,

'How can I get a privileged account?

A moderator has to invite you.'

Well, I am privileged. I just wanted to use some of the invites i had left.

Yeah, but it looks like invites have been made mod only, and the fact that it's in the FAQs probably means that it's not going to change anytime soon.

So what...ask a Mod for an invite so you can be privileged?

No.

You have to make decent contributions to the site, asking won't get you invited.

What qualifies as 'decent contributions'?

This is my experience, on a scale from hard to easy (and from most to least likely to garner an invite):
- Develop something for danbooru
- Translate
- Contribute to the forum with ideas, get involved, help out
- Upload good material, tag it properly
- Have a friend among the mods that wants to invite you

Well, I've been uploading material for quite a while now, but I do have a share of deleted images, most of them because they were left unapproved (although it is also possible to delete one's own posts). I've also entered tags on some posts and corrected others. I've even corrected obviously Explicit images that were marked Safe.

But given the list above, it looks like it will take some more effort than what I'm doing right now just to earn an invite.

You do? Your profile lists zero deletions.

because he probably deleted his deleted images, removing them totally from danbooru

I haven't found the option that delete the deleted images section :/, maybe privileged users, mod and admin can do :)

There was a time when deleting images pending approval would not have them added to your deleted images. I did that a few times during the time I was new and didn't really know what the people here wanted.
