The gist is, with your attitude you can be all but certain that you'll NEVER get an invite. Certainly not for a donation (because it wouldn't be a donation if you expect something in return.)

You're saying you can't contribute to the site, you don't want to contribute to the site, you don't know how to contribute to the site and most importantly you don't even want to make an effort to change any of that. And the money you offer as "donation" probably doesn't even cover the server bills for one day. If your time is so precious that you are so completely unwilling to make the simplest of efforts, surely you could afford to offer a whole lot more money. Not that it is likely to make any difference.

Heck, I'm kind of surprised you didn't get a negative record yet for that kind of behaviour. Spoiled kids like you are not wanted here. The site would be better off without you. Go away.

Bad english or not, if you know the basics of internet surfing you can certainly find some pics to post. Posting only takes a minute or so, not hard at all. Even searching for pics in your native tongue would result in finding some good images to post I'm sure.

If you ask me, I think all these sites with invite-only privileges are stupid, this includes Danbooru too. You guys don't even have exact guidelines on how a person can get a privileged account. I do have a few pics I could upload, but I'm not even going to bother, since they probably won't be enough for me to get a privilege account. And I have better things to do than to sit in front of the computer all day looking for pics to upload and tagging images. I come here only like a few times a month to look for certain images, so I'm not especially in need of those special privileges, so I'm not going to even bother trying to get it.

It's kind of like private and public torrent trackers. When I download from private trackers, I usually only seed until the minimum required ratio just so I could continue downloading. Whereas in public trackers, I will usually seed until the ratio is at least 2.0 or when there are no more leechers.

Danbooru is an image sharing site for Christ's sake. Why are you stripping away your users' basic privileges. If you are so worried about your precious bandwidth, instead of totally blocking out one tag, just restrict the number of views per day or per week or something. And you can make it so that people will still have to contribute if they want to increase or remove their limit. You can still set up a donation system with benefits that won't really make normal users feel left out.

Then...leave? Or visit one of the other five million imageboards on the internet? Danbooru is not the only website with anime images on it. It's a private site albert can run however he wants, taking into account his own expenses and what kind of site he wants it to be.

Not only that, the danbooru code is completely free and available, and so anyone who wants to run their site differently can benefit from all the advantages of his great interface/software, and edit it as they see fit. Your room for complaint is getting pretty small here.

If it's "stupid", why the fuck are you still here complaining? Especially after Albert has opened up almost the entire site to viewing again. First you had nothing, then safe, then safe and questionable, now you get everything but loli.

This isn't a democracy, this is danbooru.
So do something constructive or GTFO.
