Inu_Sakuya

Even though Inu_sakuya is based off of Izayoi_Sakuya from the touhou series, is she considered a character in her own right? Since shes not marked with a character tag, is this intentional or is he a character to her own right?

I'm pretty sure the OP already knows. I think he's just asking why inu_sakuya is a general tag, rather than a character tag.

As I recall, characters like Inu Sakuya, Ex Rumia, etc were made into general tags so as to not mess with chartags: searches. All of them should already be implicated to their base character.

It doesn't seem to be consistent really. ex-keine is still a char: tag. So is miku_append. And then there's all the magical girls with alternate identity tags.

If there is going to be a choice between them, it would make more sense, to me at least, to mark them as characters rather than general.

Someone is probably not reading the forums, again. I'm all for returning them to general tags.

It can't be that inu_sakuya is a replacement for izayoi_sakuya ~dog_ears ~dog_tail.

I suggest cleaning up inu_sakuya. Specifically, I ask if anyone has any objections to me cleaning it up.

I also suggest that all images of Izayoi Sakuya with dog features who are not Inu_Sakuya get the kemonomimi_mode tag.

I was about to suggest completely removing the inu_sakuya tag as it seemed to be just a replacement for dog_ears izayoi_sakuya until I found this thread. If inu sakuya really is a seperate character in it's own right then the tag is still misused.

Maybe the tag should just be changed to inu_sakuya_(angeltype) just to prevent confusion with kemonomimi_mode or animalization + izayoi_sakuya, as well as make it more clear in the relevant wikis.

I can get behind inu_sakuya_(angeltype). Gets the point across about it being an artist-created character, ensuring it's only applied to images of that specific version of her.
