Bug in favorites list?

Without being too wordy, I've got a lot of favorite images. My list extends to 159 pages. Trouble is... there are more than 159 pages worth of favorites. If I manually change the page number in the URL, I can get to page 160 (and beyond, eventually) but there is no page 160 option in the navigation down at the bottom.

What's going on? A known bug, or something new and weird?

Could be. But reading through the sticky and other linked posts in that sticky, it seemed like the problem was whether or not the database had updated yet. Mention was made of this happening within a day or so, but this has been going on for me for a few days, not just one.

Yeah. I'm fairly sure quite a few processes have been altered or set on slower schedules to relieve some stress on the site.

When you do a search the number of pages returned for that search is cached for 24 hours. Therefore, the page count on a fav:desides search will be out of date if you have added a lot of new favorites recently.

You can work around this by adding dummy terms to your search. For example, fav:desides id:>1 or fav:desides -oisdafj.

The workarounds seem to work. Thanks a lot, will keep those in mind in the future. I tend to poke around my oldest faves rather than the newest, so this is handy.

Perhaps we could add that workaround to the sticky?

I tried to add it by editing my old post in the sticky, but apparently locked threads prevent new replies as well as edits.
