This thing is impossible to find if you don't know the proper JP term for it, so I think it needs some sort of utility alias. Suggestions for better terms would be appreciated. It translates to "deer scarer" or "deer frightener" but I think "bamboo" should be in the alias somewhere since that's what people will be searching to try to find it.
Oh I thought the proper term was thing that goes doink. Jokes aside, an alias might be helpful, but I wouldn't think of "bamboo fountain".

This was suggested as an alternative alias. Personally would still like another one that incorporates the fact that it's made out of bamboo for those of us who didn't know what the thing was for, but this is still more memorable than the Japanese name.
