All these tags are about medium, so they should be meta tags.

I feel like some of these are misleading. For example, most posts tagged dakimakura (medium) aren't really a medium so much as they are the stitched, individual or overall preview art pieces that would be printed onto the dakimakura. Similarly, most of these other tags are not so much based on a medium as they are depicting the posts in a certain type of style. Card (medium) is used when posts are drawn in the style of cards or are the art pieces of a card (digital or not) but they aren't so much about artwork being made out of cards or being drawn onto a card.

I think a preview image of a product should use "*_(medium)" tag, because it can indicate the usage of the art.
As for card (medium), if the art is just drawn looked like a card, it's better not to use this tag, a new tag which describes this drawing style should be created, such as "card (style)".

That doesn't really make it a medium though, does it? pool #24250 is all just digital art that is both art on its own (including available as a digitally downloadable variant set upon subscribing) and art that is sold printed onto a dakimakura. Nothing indicates what technique was used for them nor what they were made on/with. That is to say, something created with Blender is not equal to how we use some of these non-meta "medium" tags to describe intent instead.

Are you really sure you want to garden all 21K posts out there? It seems easier to me to solve for the exception by preserving the tag but giving it a new name (via aliasing and unaliasing due to its post count), then updating a favgroup to apply the medium tag to all actual card-medium posts.
