Simplfying step-sibling and step-parent tagging

I've noticed the existence of step-sibling and step-parent tags such as step-brothers or step-father_and_step-daughter. With their existence, you would think they're mutually exclusive to the regular sibling and parent and child tags. However, I've also noticed that lots of people don't bother with the step-sibling/step-parent tags and just use the regular family tags for posts where the step-family tags would apply (e.g. Anya and Twilight from Spy x Family). To making non-blood related tagging simpler, I propose this.

• Nuke all general step-* tags except step-siblings and step-parent_and_step-child.
• Retag the posts that contained said nuked tags with their equivalent regular family relative tags (e.g. step-brothers -> brothers)
• The posts with step-siblings/step-parents and step-children will now have the regular family tags and either step-siblings or step-parent_and_step-child. (e.g. Anya and Twilight from Spy x Family will be tagged as father_and_daugther step-parent_and_step-child)

If no one objects, I will have this done in very soon.

I assume you mean for some sort of gardening to happen before the nuke, since doing that after the nuke is kind of impossible.

You mean don't need them anymore after you personally nuked the tags after giving this thread a single day.

Mm yea, that could've been a BUR for people to vote on and a pretty easy mass update too—update step-sisters -> sisters -step-sisters etc.

What's the point of this BUR? Empty implications get retired after a week.
