they're colored regardless. for example you have a brown haired person and their bands edit:*bangs are dyed a seperate color, essentially the bangs are colored anyway
shouldn't this be reversed? since colored bangs has no wiki and is several times smaller.
edit: some posts in colored bangs could be merged into dyed bangs, some are less certain (take post #8367458, dyed bangs wiki says all of the bangs must be colored, or post #8581574). but also, i don't know about merging an established tag into a smaller tag, and merging into colored bangs would leave dyed bangs-now colored bangs with posts that violate its own guidelines. i'll leave this with a meh vote.
edit2: i also admit i may be reading too far into it and this bur is fine except that these tags need gardening.
Using colored bangs would be consistent with all the other colored_* tags. Also, dyed bangs kinda implies purposeful dyeing, when it could also just be natural, as any anime hair color could be.

That has no bearing on which direction an alias should go. Since dyed bangs has a wiki and colored bangs doesn't, the wiki of dyed bangs would be renamed to colored bangs thus giving colored bangs a wiki while leaving behind a template wiki for dyed bangs saying the tag was moved. It also doesn't matter which tag is bigger, all the posts will get moved accordingly. What matters more is which is a better name to use.
I had a very hard time telling what this tag was for from the poorly written wiki. Apparently this is meant for characters like Birdy Cephon Altera, Kei, and Guel Jeturk, where the front half of the hair is a different color from the back half. Kind of like split-color hair, except split front/back instead of split left/right. This tag needs gardening because it's been polluted with characters like Kayoko.
