Artist alias request thread

It's not generated, it was named that in 2010 by a human, and the alias is valuable since the arttag has been named that since 2010. It seems like the qualifier was chosen because that was the only thing available at the time. It's not misleading or anything, it's just a Pixiv ID, so there's no harm in keeping it.

Yes, I know it was named by a human. My point is creating a distinction between names that are for our use only and names the artist use. Well, it's not a big deal.

In general (and this applies to other tag categories too), the "other names" field is used to be able to say "hey, some people may call it this". This is why it's not just limited to official names, but also fan names (and in case of character tags, ship names). In this case, we are the third party that has been calling the artist by this name for a while, but even so it counts. This is why aliases are prefered in almost every instance, and renames should only be limited to objectively wrong/misleading or objectively ambiguous (not "might be") tags.

Noted. Didn't know about fan names being included.

BUR #36098 has been approved by @evazion.

create alias r1nzo -> rinzo

Same artist. Since there are many people with the same name on Twitter, he started tweeting with a different notation. RINZO is the most common and most pervasive name for him as an illustrator.

What is the source on them being the same person and not just two people with the same name?
