Should we have a generic tag for the October 1993 Battle of Mogadishu, or should everything related to it be put under the Black Hawk Down tag?
On the one hand, there are images that aren't explicitly based on the movie that wouldn't really fit under "Black Hawk Down", and would under the more generic tag.
On the other hand, "Black Hawk Down" barely has 25 images as-is, so it's not like it's overly crowded, and I'm wary of adding more tags just for the sake of more tags.
Any thoughts?
If everything got moved to the Black Hawk Down tag, then it couldn't be used for the movie anymore (and therefore also couldn't be a copyright tag anymore).
It wouldn't be for the sake of adding tags, it would be to tag something that should be tagged. As Damian said, Black Hawk Down is for the movie. If a post isn't referencing the movie, then it can't use that tag.
If there are posts referencing the battle, but not the movie, then there should be a tag for the battle. Muddying tags just to avoid making more tags is a poor idea.
Alrighty, I'll start moving stuff and adding tags now.
Should we create an implication for Black Hawk Down to Battle of Mogadishu? Pretty much the whole of the movie is directly related to the event.

No, and it wouldn't work anyways. Copyright tags can't imply gentags.
