How does the Danbooru user banning system work?

Yeah i just got out of my ban 3 minutes ago, i'm basically asking how the hell you expect it to work. It still lets me search, look at posts, tap on anything. I just can't comment or use the Forum and that's not even what i use it for. A ban system is useless if it still lets you use the site it bans you from.

Also, am i gonna get banned for the "sockpuppet" accounts? User IDs are as follows: #1279725, #1279731, #1279734, #1279756 and #1279764. All 5 were banned for the above reason, "Sockpuppet of user #1160899" (and could still be used and accessed, (hence how i got the UIDs) for some reason). Also if you ban an account of mine, i'm gonna keep coming back because what i said i stand by. Loli is disgusting.

The ban only keeps you from doing things you need an account for. We're not a members-only site. It will, however, keep you from uploading images; editing tags, pools, and wikis; and, as you already mentioned, leaving comments and making forum posts.

Yes, making numerous sockpuppets is likely to get you permanently banned, especially if you're making them to evade a ban. You're entitled to your opinion on loli content (which you shouldn't be able to see when correctly tagged anyway), but you still have to follow the rules to have an account here.

If you just want to browse, feel free to do so. We can't stop you.

I saw the Loli post just before it was correctly tagged, hence how i was able to see the full image family and check the character's age (13-15) and will the sockpuppets get THIS account banned? This account isnt a sockpuppet

Yes, because making sockpuppets to evade bans is against the rules.

Also, canon age isn't a factor in whether we add the loli tag. All that matters is how young the character looks and whether they are in a sexual situation. If someone forgets to add the tag, the correct course of action is to add the tag yourself. If you're not sure whether a post qualifies, you can ask in topic #8650, the loli/shota check thread.

First of all, we don't care about the character's age. As Blank User said, you're entitled to your opinion, but the site's stance on loli/shota isn't going to change no matter what you do. Anything you say or do on the matter is just wasting your time. You would be better served getting over it and finding a more positive use of your time.

Aa for your question, yes, creating sockpuppets to break the rules, such as ban evasion, will get all of your accounts banned.

Well, I'm not a mod so I can't say. But personally, I don't mind if they let you stay as long as you follow the rules from now on.

I don't really see what having an opinion on a certain type of content has to do with you making sockpuppets unless you're vandalising posts or making stupid comments. There are some opinions you ought to keep to yourself and use the blacklist function or fix a post if it's missing a tag that should be there. You don't have to make a simple problem more complicated and waste time creating accounts and getting them banned.

I can just use a different device and i learnt that earlier. I used my 5 sockpuppets to finally read the ToS and saw they literally know everything about my PC and Phone now.

All i gotta do is make sure my 'puppets names and emails dont look the same, and use basically a similar thing to burner phones.

Just want to throw in that insulting artists personally (and lets be honest here, your statement is getting dangerously close to a threat) is a guaranteed Premium™ fast pass to getting removed from here.

First of all, Danbooru is able to exist thanks to the goodwill of artists. While some of them disagree with our archiving work, plenty don't really mind and we would like to keep it that way. If people here start shitting on them personally and throw insults at them, this will change. So stop with that.

Secondly, making threatening statements to IRL people can cause problems with law enforcement. There is a reason that wishing "death" on people is heavily frowned upon on large websites. Think political threads on forums/reddit involving Trump, just to give an example.

TL;DR: Just leave, you'll improve the lives of both yourself and us. Everyone is a winner.

I think you could use other hobbies besides hanging out on websites that clearly make you upset. Can't say I'm a fan of that content either, but it's not against the rules of this website. Can't get upset when voluntarily going into a liquor store that they sell beer.
