Do images which are more about the psychological damage still apply? post #3463915 or post #3296802 for instance which don't have any penetration or fluids but are clearly a rape-aftermath.

I'm not sure about the first one. It seems to have more of a connection with the posts after it than the posts before it. But it does actually show her being raped before and her being zoned out from it is a very easy interpretation to make.

I don't think it would apply to the second one. For people who are familiar with the character, it's hard to think of it as anything but a rape aftermath, but that is based completely on knowledge of canon. Out of context (and we don't actually know the context for this particular image), it's ambiguous why she's crying while nude and holding a sheet. It could be the aftermath of a rape, but there are other plausible explanations as well.

Rape and consensual sex are not the same, and the experiences afterwards are totally different vibes. As WRS said, it would pollute the results for people looking for that post-coitus afterglow.

This is a joke argument. Forced sex is still sex. after_rape after_sex has more than 1k results, nobody cares about the "vibes".

As stated in the wiki, the rape tag is for depictions of any forced sexual acts, not just vaginal or anal penetrations. Thus, after rape doesn't always imply after sex.

This is the real reason why this implication can't happen.

but after sex's wiki states:

Sometimes a character will light up a cigarette while the other cries. This occurs when a character is ruined for marriage.

and there are rating:s after_sex results like post #7038565 that don't show any fluids or genitals, just people in bed with bite marks and hickeys, or even post #6759567 that only has under-dressed people in a bed, not even signs of earlier kissing - it cannot be safely determined that what occurred chronologically before those posts was PiV/PiA (aka what falls under danbooru's definition of sex)

We actually do have an afterglow tag for this.

afterglow is for clearly happy aftermath. not every post with aftermath of consensual sex will actually depict the characters as happy. the aforementioned post #7038565 doesn't look like rape, but both parties are confused and perhaps embarrassed, not happy at all, so they're not really basking in afterglow
