The area of her head (especially her neck) looks kinda off.

Sorry to say this but... it's just really bland.

I don't see it but if all the approvers do I guess you are right. Yeah, the other pictures are too simple, that's why I didn't upload them the same day the artist posted them but in the end I still liked them and they are not bad so I gave them a shot.

btw this one post #8559259 problem is the comic part, right? I am sure if it was Aponia alone it would have been approved.

Thanks for the feedback.

Hi.

post #8550698 failed upon appeal but I fail to see how it's any different from quite a few of this artists already active works. I can provide examples if needed.

Another Youmu-kun post is about to fail. post #8570283. It's similar in style to how they draw Sakuya and is similar to other works involving similar themes.

I didn't like the neck par and her arm next to the wall. Looks rather simply drawn when that doesn't seem to be the intention and the anatomy is arguably bad there too.

I disagree with the arm part being bad anatomy. I implore you to do the pose irl with your arm being close to the wall and check again whilst also accounting for the slight obscuring from the breast. The neck I assume is personal preference which is fair, though it is just how the artist draw necks (see post #7003925 and post #8044580, the latter having a similar hand/arm example too)

If it's still not the case then fair enough and thank you for your feedback regardless.

Hi, any feedback on why these posts weren't approved? Please give a second chance.

post #8566116: I can tell it's off-in a way, like her right arm would have to be very long to grab her kneecap without either extending her arm, or leaning forward.
post #8566698: It looks messy/amateurish with the shading/smoke effects being just brushed over without much alterations. It's one of the artist's older works if you look at their more recent ones; which have greatly improved.
post #8566085: Same with above, but it's better. I think the approvers saw it as just meh.

If I have to guess, maybe the way her left arm is drawn/positioned?

It's taken near directly from a historical photo of the person Kay is dressed as, so I don't know. If anything, lingering dislike of that historical figure would seem like a more likely answer.

Not even five approvers have so much as glanced at it after it was appealed, so I'm hoping someone does before it times out for the second time.

Edit: Thank you for replying to me, at least. It sure seemed like no one was paying attention to that or the post I made for it before it timed out the first time.

I wouldn't say that there is sentiment against William Sherman or any historical figure here really; there's plenty of art of figures here, both living and non-living, of folk heroes, brutal despots, criminals, etc. that were approved. Artwork is judged by their quality and relevancy in the mod queue and the reason why I commented on her arm being somewhat weird was because of that.

Then I suppose people have a beef against the way ernest draws people, because as of 8 hours ago someone has mass-flagged more than a full page worth of his work for "low quality". Since the Kay Sherman is very consistent with how ernest has drawn people in the past, pieces have been approved, someone must think that means that every piece of art by him should be removed after the fact.

Images are deleted due to the fact that they are not approved in time. Although the image is high-quality and not ai work. I will soon have to delete many of my uploaded images because the approval period is expiring. Which will take away my placement slots. I try to specify tags quite accurately and not publish paid works. But the approval is strange, one of my author's works was quickly approved, another animation only with fubuki and tatsumaki is still not there.
