Uploading from furaffinity?

comment #2227545 Says there's Furaffinity upload support, and there are uploads from Furaffinity, but I can't seem to actually be able to upload anything directly from Furaffinity except from downloading the image and then uploading the file (unless I'm doing something wrong).
The closest I can get is pressing the download button and uploading the subsequent link, but that's tagged as a bad link.

Am I just doing something wrong or are you meant to download and upload the image file from Furaffinity? Thanks in advance.

It's working fine for me, what error are you getting? Are you sure you're pasting in the correct format (https://www.furaffinity.net/view/*)?

Upload failed: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/55866732/ doesn't contain any images.
Right after you said that, I was able to properly upload an image, but after exiting the page it no longer works. Is the server full or something, or is my laptop just really bad at uploading?
Edit: wait I can upload from furaffinity. https://www.furaffinity.net/view/25325871/ works and some others work, but but not others apparently?

I think I see the problem, the image you linked is marked as mature and requires an account to view. It doesn't work for me either, Danbooru might not have a dedicated FA account to fetch those posts. I've only ever uploaded SFW from there so I was not aware of this.

Ah, so it's only possible to upload sfw images from furaffinity, unless you download them and upload the image, okay. Is there any way to fix it, or...?

Not until an admin implements a FA account for the fetcher. In the meantime, you can just paste in the direct link to the image and fix the source manually, no need to download anything.
