Alias to the more distinctive and common name.

Is it the "more distinctive and common name" for it though? When trying to think for a better name than these ages ago, I could find jack and shit. Additionally, searching "sipper water bottle" on Google gives me more results for bottles and flasks with sipper lids. Just because Wikipedia uses that for its name doesn't make it more correct.

Agreed with Damian0358, just do a google image search of "sipper water bottle" and you'll get zero results of animal water bottles. Places like PetSmart just call them "water bottles" which isn't helpful, and even then you have water bottles for larger pets and water bottles for small pets which have different designs.

Given the term is heavily used for another type of water bottle you'll have to at least distinguish sipper_water_bottle with a qualifier or similar. Even then, I wouldn't rely on Wikipedia's article for the name of this because of the following warnings put on it:
