(color)_pubic_hair should imply colored_pubic_hair

I would argue orange and red can be natural colours.

In anime world, you can argue any color is natural.

If aqua from konosuba has light blue pubic hair, it's not due to dye.

It's not dyed_pubic_hair, though. I think the point of this tag is to separate ordinarily-colored from extraordinarily-colored pubic hair. To be fair, red or orange are so rare, that perhaps they should be included, even though they can technically be natural (the definition should be changed).

Maybe orange could stay on, but I don't see why red wouldn't occur naturally in real life. White should also be removed.

I think you have it the wrong way around - orange hair is more likely to occur in real life, true red hair is extremely rare.

no need to bump, the admins will come by eventually to put their two cents in

tbh im not really sure we need colored_pubic_hair, i usually just search the specific color

Ok, my bad.
Well, there are umbrella tags for other things, such as nail_polish, so why shouldn't there be one here?

It's been a month with no activity here. Could the admins maybe weigh in or approve this?

i also think nail_polish is dumb and stupid and bad lol

Why? Those tags are convenient, especially when you consider the limit on search terms that danbooru imposes on regular users.

Again, you don’t need to bump these topics. Pending BURs are automatically bumped 40 days after they’re created.

And why is white pubic hair still included? It’s a natural color, especially for elderly people.

Tbh, if it were up to me, I'd remove the "unnatural" part from the definition altogether. When people search for colored pubic hair, they just want to see posts with pubic hair that's not black, brown or blonde. I don't think whether it is a color that occurs in nature or not is a consideration. But since it's not up to me, I'll just remove it, I guess.

Then again, if we're not including white or red, then the wiki needs to be changed too, as it currently lists those as examples.

yeah as a former regular user, i wanted to search blue_fingernails but had to search blue_nails fingernails or blue_fingernails nail_polish which already took up my two tags, but eh thats another discussion

That's an argument for why there should be separate tags for fingernails and toenails, not against nail_polish. And I would agree that they should be separated.
