As per howto:translate, using machine translations as a source is not allowed. It leads to very incorrect translations in some instances, which is worse than having a post not be translated as all, since it's unlikely to be noticed and fixed.
If you've used machine translations, please remove them and let people with sufficient Japanese proficiency translate them instead.

No need to remove them. The bulk of the writing is probably correct, but there may be some minor mistakes here and there. It may be less work to fix the current translation instead of writing the whole thing from scratch. Both posts have the check translation tag now, so it has a higher chance of being looked at.
I fixed the field names, though it may be good to replace them from the translations from earlier pool entries to keep them consistent. I haven't checked the descriptions, so there may still be errors in those.

As someone does actually look at them, it should be fine yes. The main issue is that it's not unheard of of MTL just making stuff up or completely ignoring parts, and even if one applies common sense that is very tricky to spot.
I hate being That Guy, but an "official" translation already exists - if you follow the source link and scroll to the bottom of the artist's post you can find a download for a hard-translation in english and spanish(!).
