MLP form tags thread, the tags are kind of a mess at the moment. Starting by adding missing implications for the mane 6's forms.

They all have two human forms, one from EQG and one from the Bishoujo figures. Twilight's are... the same, for some reason, so that's why she just gets "human". Sci-Twi is the alternate dimension Twilight from EQG, and Midnight Sparkle is her evil powered up form.

Nightmare Rarity is Rarity's corrupted form from the comics. Pinkamena is the popular fanmade dark persona of Pinkie.

I don't think Rarity's EQG tag needs MLP in there? EQG is unique enough by itself.

Rest of the characters. Should be comprehensive, minus some deleted posts I didn't bother sifting through.

I think the Dazzlings and Sunset are the only characters that warrant separate tags for their creature and human forms instead of just using the creature as the base tag, since they're mostly EQG characters.

I manually moved the Starlight posts but the alias might be a good idea since I think Twilight's and Sunset's tags are confusing people. She's a FIM character with no Bishoujo figure, her only human form is her EQG form.

Also worth mentioning that MLP has a weird personification inconsistency with several different types of personifications (complet human, horned/winged human, colored skin human, horned/winged colored skin human) that are currently individually unsearchable (see topic #22109). Maybe the creation of more skin tags can solve this.

Not sure if I understand how these are unsearchable - wouldn't this be handled by adding or subtracting horns, wings, colored skin? It may require some gardening if posts are undertagged, but so would a more dramatic tag change.

Well, first of all, this can be said to many existing form tags and it's not a reason to not make them. Second, members can't search anything over 2 tags and it shouldn't be something that requires you multiple tags to filter. And third, even if everything is well tagged, there well always be false positives and negatives due to dual persona, multiple characters etc. Look at the pony equivalents, we have unicorn, pegasus and winged unicorn instead of telling everyone to use wings, horns combinations.

Knew we were missing something. Technically there's a G5 comic series too but I don't think it gets nearly as much attention since the G4 comic ran for years and had many characters original to it. I doubt it should be an issue.
