Hello, curious why post #7997439 wasn't approved? It was uploaded around the end of the race to post #8000000 so maybe it just got overlooked/buried.

I take it the torso twisting is unacceptable?

More the fact it's a singular page from a continuous doujin?

If that's so, I'm not seeing where said doujin is for sale. It's not the Fanbox link, is it? I always assumed Fanbox is like Patreon, not a store page like DLSite.
EDIT: Just realized it's a WIP.

Any reason this one wasn't approved? https://danbooru.donmai.us/posts/8002615?q=status%3Adeleted+user%3AFreshblink
I think it's pretty good actually.

I'm new to uploading on danbooru, what's wrong with my posts? Why r they not getting approved, with the reason "not interesting"? Each post has at least 20 favorites, which seems like quite a high amount for only 1 day of existing on the website. People find it interesting.
I set all the appropriate tags which came to my mind, the artist, the copyright, and some "niche" ones.
What is the problem here? I don't get it, is it personal?

No, it's not personal. Disinterest is just the default that it displays when an approver skips the artwork.
In general NSFW posts are simply less likely to get approved.
And upvotes don't mean anything in terms of the quality of the art, NSFW posts just inherently get more likes than SFW posts, and aren't factored in when deciding whether or not to approve a post.

I'll also add that these haven't been deleted yet, so there's no reason to ask about it yet. Wait for the posts to actually get deleted next time.
That said, these posts are pretty low-quality 3D porn animations, so they're not getting approved any time soon.
Six posts in a row that were only checked 6 times before getting deleted, plus another one that was only checked 4 times. You know uploading is useless if the approvers are not going to do their part, but I guess they are too busy undeleting some very low quality fish picture for the tenth time.
Right, I almost forgot I was supposed to ask something here, what is wrong with this set I guess? post #7946599

For me, it has good quality.

No, we are busy looking through over 2k new posts on a daily basis that are pending approval: https://danbooru.donmai.us/counts/posts?tags=~approver%3Aany+~status%3Apending+age%3A%3C1d. This is a HUGE workload and is much bigger than only a few years ago. If you want to complain about approvers, please do so on a basis that doesn't ridicule one user group that's already under heavy bombardment because approvers are generally seen as the butthole of the community.
And it's not the approval team's fault this one fish post gets appealed way too often. In fact, it was undeleted only once. But approvers have to look at it every time it gets appealed. Maybe keep that in mind as well when judging performance of approvers.
Just gonna post this again since it probably got skimmed over:
Not too sure what was wrong with post #7969894
When post #7969901 got approved, and was the counterpart to the above piece.
Exact same artist, same quality, etc.

what's low quality about them though? I've tried to animate stuff when modding games myself, and I can say that it's hard, can u elaborate, please? If possible.. would appreciate it.. I decided to post here because I got very confused, since the person who made these animations has been making animations for a long time, so it should say something. And ngl kinda worried for my upload limit, because all the appealing stuff and deleting stuff takes a lot of free upload slots, which feels like a waste and I just don't wanna lose them, so if there is a chance - I ask..
And what I meant by the amount of favorites in such a short period of time, is that the people find it interesting and actually like it, so it would be fair enough to take it into account when approving, am I wrong?

Yes. Danbooru's mission is to build a curated gallery of high-quality art primarily of anime and anime-adjacent topics. But because some of that art includes porn, we will have a lot of users that come here for that purpose. They care more about whether they can get off to it than whether it's high-quality. Therefore, the number of likes and favorites is not a good metric to determine whether it meets quality standards.
I'm not in a position to comment on the quality of your posts, but the fact that 3D can be hard to pull off well is one of the reasons it can be harder to approve. Works are also not approved based on the artist's reputation or experience. Even the most skilled artists can produce bad works.
post #8005656 - What's anatomically wrong here? Boobs or hips?
post #7960696 - What's wrong with this post here? I thought this is pretty good, and the Vtuber herself used this as her thumbnail.
post #7903627, no different in style to anything else approved for this artist
Good artwork and alt version with less clothing was already approved some time ago
