Currently batgirl is used for any character in the Batgirl role (and sometimes the same characters even when they're not acting as Batgirl). I think it would be more useful to have distinct tags for each character's identities.
A couple of questions:
Once each Batgirl has her own tag, should batgirl be deprecated? Or should barbara gordon (batgirl) (etc.) imply batgirl?
The individual costumes are currently general tags, because some of them are shared by multiple characters. Should the ones that aren't shared be converted to character tags? Should they be split into multiple tags depending on who's wearing it? (E.g. barbara gordon (batgirl) (1967 costume) vs. stephanie brown (batgirl) (1967 costume)?)
