Lilith Aensland's Actual Name

So... The thing about Lilith is that Aensland is not her actual surname, she doesn't have a surname at all, in fact.

Well, she shouldn't. In some English sources (mainly third party guidebooks and the English version of Capcom Fighting Collection's website) it does give her the surname, but all Japanese sources I've seen just call her リリス.

I made a image showcasing how Lilith is named in Japanese (it's a bit old tbh, but I'm sure I can find more if I looked), showing that Lilith is just Lilith even when Morrigan is Morrigan Aensland.

However, I'm not dumb. I know the majority of the English-speaking side of the internet think her surname is Aensland (not to mention it's technically official thanks to CFC). Which is why I'm aliasing it instead of renaming the tag.

Please first consider my proposal of changing the character qualifiers to Darkstalkers, the (vampire) qualifier is ambiguous and awkward.

Since she's still a piece of Morrigan's soul and technically Morrigan herself, regardless of the fact that she grew a distinct and separate sentience, i believe the surname should stand.

I mean, it's literally not canon. She hasn't had a surname for the past 27 years (save for CFC's thing on the english website). I'm not going to remove the tag, just make it an alias and make her actual canonical name the main tag. I don't see the reason of making it the main tag name.

If that does pass, all that changes is making the vampire qualifer into an alias and making the darkstalkers qualifer main, right? It's just an extra alias.

If our BURs pass at the same time, it may be a little awkward for a bit.... It's up to whoever handles our BURs. Hopefully your BUR resolves first >_<;;

Since this BUR is likely going to pass given the upvotes and your explanations, I can take the opportunity to just point out that, with your username paired with this BUR, this looks like Morrigan disowning Lilith from the Aensland lineage.

I don't like adding qualifiers to tags that haven't had them for decades, but this case is pretty bizarre and I suppose it can't be helped. If I google "lilith aensland" I barely get any relevant result, with danbooru being one of the top ones and most others obviously having been influenced by us.

If you disagree with this alias speak now or forever hold your peace.

Since BUR #28051 was approved, I changed my BUR to reflect the new qualifiers the series has.
