I guess this is the reason why many think the first option is awful. Maybe the tag machine gun should be better reserved to common, single-barrelled MGs.

Perhaps the machine gun tag should be better added manually to comply with their specific size and caliber. Autocannon itself implies cannon, while weapon should be for man-portable ones.
