The Vtuber Alternate Costume Tagging Proposal

Was looking to tag Furen's concert 3D alt model from post #6777203, but this is probably a bigger discussion on how we should tag them for each Niji.
For the Nijisanji Symphonia 3D models/alt outfits (post #7374894), should we have individual tags for each member? Since they are fairly unique to each.
Individual outfit breakdown on their official page
Or just one blanket tag, like for hololive idol uniform, hololive summer 2023 swimsuit, etc.?

Blanket tags will work better, especially if it's supposed to be for concerts and all that

Yep, same as for the Hololive 3D swimsuits and yukatas, designed for an event, but they can use it with Home 3D daily.
There was also the option of having 1 character tag for each + the general tag, but I didn't find enough images to justify it.
Will make the Nijisanji Symphonia concert uniform tag then, to keep with the Holo concerts naming format, and we can rename it later, or add more aliases if needed.

Updated

I asked about this in "how do I tag this" earlier but this thread might be more appropriate - there's a minor tagging dispute on post #7738800 - the Quackity SMP copytag was removed because it's "just Ironmouse in a different outfit", but the outfit is from QSMP.

Additionally, does a vtuber not having a model for an outfit really mean an official outfit from other media should be tagged alternate costume instead of official alternate costume? Neither of these seem correct to me :? It's an outfit from that copyright and it's an officially used outfit

I am not super familiar with vtubers outside of their overlap with other streaming stuff, figured this thread would be more knowledgeable on the topic.

I added the tag back on because of this fact, added by the fact that the commentary explicitly namedrops QSMP.

This is a slightly more difficult question, since when people generally think of official alternate costume, they think of stuff not just like their costume models, but also costumes they end up receiving uniquely in merchandise, ala Shirogane Noel (Summer 2020) or nanashi_mumei valkyrie_connect (remember that not everything needs a unique tag depending on context), things that are concretely officially associated with them. I imagine no one has ever considered the case of Minecraft skins in this context, since while someone can be associated with a particular skin, the skin doesn't have to be officially theirs (think of someone having their main skin just be the default skin from a random texture pack). In a case like this, where it is a very specific design meant for Mousey, there's only one question I can think of, and that is this:

Did she get that skin made for her, or was it a skin that was previously made by a fan? If it's the former, then I'd say that's enough for it to be official alternate costume. If it is the latter, then her usage of that skin is closer to VTubers (or streamers generally) including fanart in the thumbnails of their streams, or using fanart as stand-ins for their models (ala Houshou Marine (Nun)), in which case that's alternate costume.

I have no clue, so I'm fine leaving it as alternate costume.

BUR #27978 is pending approval.

create alias amane_kanata_(7th_costume) -> amane_kanata_(summer)
create alias shiranui_flare_(5th_costume) -> shiranui_flare_(loungewear)
create alias yuzuki_choco_(7th_costume) -> yuzuki_choco_(sleepwear)
create alias ayunda_risu_(6th_costume) -> ayunda_risu_(work)
create alias airani_iofifteen_(6th_costume) -> airani_iofifteen_(work)

We're slowly falling back behind on qualifier renames, so let me try proposing a few. As I previously suggested, going with (summer) for Kanata's 7th costume makes sense. Flare's 5th is an obvious (loungewear) choice, and Risu and Iofi's 6th costumes similarly obvious (work) picks. Choco's 7th seems to fit our current usage of (sleepwear) meanwhile.
