Honestly, if it weren't for the other posts of this character, I would think those were pauldrons based on how they're drawn.

I took a look at shoulder spikes and while I do see a few mistags, it's only five or so in the 7 pages of spiked pauldrons -pauldrons.

The way the wiki for shoulder spikes is currently written, it would seem that spiked pauldrons should imply both pauldrons and shoulder spikes.
