I wasn’t sure what the best course of action was, like if somebody wanted to add a suffix to konoko or something.

I'd say konoko doesn't currently need to be deprecated/marked as ambiguous, because the only tags it's likely to get mixed up with (konokono and konoko (artist)) have even fewer posts than it does and those posts are ancient, but it wouldn't hurt to make the character tag "konoko_(oni)" for futureproofing in case some popular thing suddenly introduces a character named Konoko.

IMO alias them both to konoko_(oni) and leave the aliases in place for now.

normally we'd prefer full names, but it seems from what I see that she's generally called by her codename by fans and in game
