remove alias sonia_(fire_emblem_gaiden) -> sonya_(fire_emblem)
create alias sonya_(fire_emblem) -> sonya_(fire_emblem_gaiden)
create alias sonia_(fire_emblem) -> sonia_(fire_emblem:_the_blazing_blade)
These names are way too close to each-other. I'm surprised this has only tripped up a few people including me but ideally these should be more differentiated anyhow, imo
ftr Sonia is from Fire Emblem: The Blazing Blade. Sonya is from Fire Emblem Gaiden and its remake, Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia. to avoid confusion I'm just gonna refer to the former as Sonia FE7 and the latter as Sonya FE2/15
for some reason the tag Sonia (Fire Emblem Gaiden) was aliased to Sonya FE2/15 years ago, I feel like that should be un-done because it's just weirdly ambiguous with Sonia FE7. and then I'm aliasing the current Sonya FE2/15 tag to Sonya (Fire Emblem Gaiden). I'm only adding Gaiden to the qualifier since the precedent is Deen (Fire Emblem Gaiden), another FE2/15 character who needs to be differentiated from Deen (Fire Emblem: Thracia 776). I don't think it's a big deal personally, but I'm open to changing both Sonya and Deen's qualifiers to Echoes: Shadows of Valentia instead if you guys think that'd be better (most art of them is their Echoes remake design ftr. but I think anyone posting art of these will know "Gaiden" refers to them).
as for Sonia FE7, well it's straightforward I'm just qualifying Blazing Blade to her, which is the only game she is in. ideally I would prefer to just rename both of these entirely instead of aliasing because aliasing still kind of retains the confusion. but the site won't let me bc Sonya FE2/15 has over 200 posts
