Discussion: Tagging For VTuber Reincarnates

So, a LOT of Nijisanji graduates have been coming back with new personas lately, and with that comes an issue. I feel like we should be tagging pictures where VTubers' old and new personas (such as Selen and Dokibird, or Mysta and K9 Kuro) appear in the same pictuee together as dual persona, but apparently that's not what everyone thinks since searching Dokibird (Vtuber) + dual persona netted me nothing but Dokibird + Selen Tatsuki had a whole lotta stuff! I personally think this is in need of correction, but what do you think? Discuss.

Doki is a special case, tho.

If you think it deserves a more specific tag, you're free to make an argument for it, but currently voice actor connection is the tag used for this purpose (according to its wiki, anyway.)

I don't think it makes sense to treat vtubers as personas. Tags like dual persona are for different versions of the same character, Selen Tatsuki and Dokibird are not the same character, they're two different characters played by the same real-life person. Outside of making a tag specifically for this, voice actor connection makes more sense, and that's a pretty contentious tag when talking about Vtubers as it is.

They're different characters owned by different copyright holders, but even if we ignore that, images like that reference the person behind the vtuber and at the end of the day, the person behind a vtuber is a VA.

Although I can't see I put much thought into it before, I think naturally voice actor connection makes the most sense since they are VAs in the end.
