Entrance isn’t a particularly great name in my opinion, I would much prefer it be renamed to the Japanese word if that’s what it’s being used on in the majority of posts. Foyer should be more for western architecture and parlor/sitting rooms, but there are Japanese ones in there too because Danbooru will be Danbooru.
The problem would be many modern Japanese houses are pretty western anyway. So I think entrance is still good enough unless there are specific examples and guideline for what is Japanese enough. Then there are architectural styles that are neither Japanese nor western too so entrance should be good there.
About foyer, I think it is a bit redundant. And shouldn't a foyer that is distinct enough from a normal entrance be called a lobby? We don't have lobby tag though.
