I don't think we should use a title like that without a good reason -- either the fully-romaji or fully-english title would be normally be preferable.

It seems to be the preferred romanization over the one we use for the tag - both Wikipedia and MAL use Debby the Corsifa. If anything we should probably reverse it, no other sites are using our current tag romanization for it
Also we're currently using debby the corsifa as the chartag so...

What are you talking about? Foreign words should never get romanized, or vice versa. Sousou no Frieren is not Sousou no Furiiren, Bocchi the Rock! is not Bocchi za Rokku, Skip to Loafer is not Skip and Loafer.

I'm only objecting to 'mixed-language' titles when they're of questionable origin. Bocchi the Rock! is literally written on the manga cover. I don't see the phrase debby the corsifa wa makezugirai anywhere on the manga or other materials, it may very well be a title some fan-translator came up with on a whim which subsequently spread to other sites. Correct me if I'm wrong, because this is the kind of information we need to judge whether the BUR is accurate or arbitrary.

It's still dumb to romanise a foreign word, especially a proper noun. Why do we even need to debate over this? This is like default translation standard, AND supported by danbooru's translation policy.

Dungeon Meshi only has "Delicious in Dungeon" written on the cover, yet we still translate it as Dungeon meshi, not Danjon Meshi.

Just discussing it isn't gonna get us anywhere, so let's put it to a BUR and let it be decided. Counter BUR to the original one that started this thread. Once we have the main tag set we can do an EN->JP alias with debby the corsifa is emulous.
