rename classic_squiffer_(splatoon) -> squiffer_(splatoon)
Every Splatoon weapon has few different official colour variants. on Danbooru there's only tags for the default names of each weapon i.e. the "vanilla" version of that weapon (as having tags for every single colour variant of every single weapon would be absurd tag bloat; they're only colour variations for the most part).
Usually these variants are named with an in-universe brand name appended at the front. e.g. Splattershot Nova has a variant called "Annaki Splattershot Nova" which is just the weapon name with the in-universe brand "Annaki" appended at the front.
However there's a handful of weapons whose variant names aren't exactly tied to brand names and are just adjectives/numbers of sorts appended to the front/back of what is considered to be the vanilla weapon name. A few of these such weapons, the ones I'm BUR'ing, are inconsistently named on the site because they're named after one of these "adjective" variations instead of what is considered to be the vanilla name.
For a clearer picture here's a list of some of these "adjective" namings. I'll start with the ones consistently tagged. (These links are Splatoon wiki disambiguation pages)
- Aerospray has "MG", "RG" and "PG" variants. This one is tagged consistently. It's just the Aerospray (Splatoon).
- N-zap has '83, '85, '89 variants. Correctly tagged as well, the vanilla name is just the N-zap (Splatoon).
- Nautilus. has '47 and '79 variants. Likewise this is correctly just named Nautilus (Splatoon).
Here are the disambiguation pages for a few of the ones I'm trying to BUR:
- Snipewriter] has "5H" and "5B" variants. To be consistent with other weapons like Aerospray and N-zap it should just be called Snipewriter on danbooru but currently the tag is Snipewriter 5H (Splatoon) which isn't really the "vanilla" name.
- Squiffer has "Classic, Fresh and New" variants. it's named as Classic Squiffer (Splatoon) rn but to be consistent with the others it should just be called Squiffer here.
(and same goes for the S-Blast but I think you get the point now)
Thank you for your time. Ultimately not the biggest deal but since these weapons do get a fair amount of art this mild inconsistency with some of them has bugged me for a while
