The Attack Titan is the official name of Eren's Titan form in Shingeki no Kyojin, and is one of the Nine Titans in the series.

I'd assume it is deliberate, to avoid spoilers - which I don't really agree with and think that Christa Renz name should be aliased too.

This is a case of late arrival spoiler (not entirely sure about Rogue/Attack titan though), which is also the reason why we have not aliased levi_(shingeki_no_kyojin) to levi_ackerman.

Christa and Levi are debatable, but everything after the revelation in Grisha Yeager's cellar was a radical paradigm shift, to the point that the manga completely changed protagonists.
