Genshin Impact is part of the Honkai Universe as confirmed by the devs themselves, plus Otto seeing Dvalin and Teyvat in Chapter 17 of HI3.

All the others are Nippon Ichi games and part of its overall multiverse/setting.

It looks more like Genshin, Star Rail and Honkai Impact 3rd are part of the same multiverse like other copyrights, than Genshin and Star Rail are part of Honkai Impact 3rd. It doesn't make sense to put the three under an umbrella tag if the characters aren't the same. The wiki edits should be reverted if this gets rejected.

I believe nippon_ichi is a tag for posts referencing the company, not an umbrella for their games.

I feel like this doesn't help bring anything to helping find these games via searching, it would be incredibly annoying to be trying to search within a single game but I'm now being forced to go through every other game made by a company if they happen to be in the same multiverse?
Sorry, can't get behind this. If it's added and not replacing, then sure, because that would be better for most sides and widen discoverability.

Honkai Universe was the name used by the devs in the interview for the overall setting, not Honkai Impact 3rd itself. HI3, GI, HSR, and GGZ are all part of the Honkai Universe, basically.

We don't use catch-all tags just because the copyrights are set in the same multiverse, I.e. from the same company, there must be recurring characters for the search to be useful.

I'm not exactly sure how you missed the two Bronyas, Seele, Sushang, or Totally Not Space-Otto (Luocha), but even outside that the Welt in Star Rail is literally the exact same Welt from HI3, who somehow got isekaid to the Star Rail world-cluster after the events of the Alien Space manga alongside Void Archives.
