Qualifying forced as nonsexual

Posted under Tags

BUR #18476 has been rejected.

create alias forced -> forced_(nonsexual)

Following the trend of things like tied_up_(nonsexual), I think forced needs this treatment. While I usually wouldn't care due to it being a relatively small tag and gardening it isn't too much of a hassle, the problem stems from it being tied up with rape and other sexual assault tags. These are common blacklist tags and much of forced is untagged rape. An almost identical situation to what tied up was.

Yes, it'll need a gardening pass afterwards, but what BUR doesn't need that?

Maybe there should be consequences for users that keep adding tied_up_(nonsexual) to sexual posts. If we don't do anything about users adding clearly wrong tags of course nothing will change.

Well, have you contacted or given a feedback to someone because of the abuse of this tag? Have you contacted a mod or admin because of repeated abuse? I cleaned up tied up (nonsexual) myself a bit two weeks ago, and we regularly ban peple for vandalism/tag abuse, but we can't inspect every single change by every single user on the site by ourselves.

I don't notice these usually because I'm not interested in the kind of posts. If I notice someone misusing tags I will complain.
I don't think some people misusing a tag that is 100% clear from the tag name should be an argument against making an ambiguous tag name more clear.

The problem is that for tags like these renaming is just kicking the can down the road without addressing the actual problem. What is forced for? Is it for force-feeding (a larger tag)? Is it for noogies (post #6663507, but almost zero overlap in tagging)? Is it for fetish content like post #6645195 where there's no sexual activity going on? If yes, why is it called non-sexual? What about forced kisses? Those aren't rape either. Does forced undressing (post #1865263), again sexual in nature but not rape, fall under this tag? What about someone getting arrested?

Also, forced is:nsfw has more results than forced is:sfw. This tag needs to be cleaned up before it can be moved to something called "non-sexual".
