I'm not sure how long this has been the case, but at least as of the in-game announcement for the release date of the Monster Hunter collab for Global, "Kirin X Yato" has been corrected to "Kirin R Yato". Kirin R is the correct name of the armor set she's wearing; Kirin X is a different set.
Edit: After looking into it, it seems they did make this change for CN, but only did so a few days ago. So, she is now officially called Kirin R Yato in all versions of the game.
