Simply put, I think we need a tag for eating either ghosts specifically (see post #940758, post #879426) and a general one for where sentient creatures are eaten, but it's not cannibalism (post #6399224, post #3409234, post #1644080)
The first one I'd likely call eating_spirits or eating_ghosts. While it may seem like a restrictive tag, it would actually have a higher count than most currently existing eating_X tags currently have. As discussed in the previous thread, the cannibal yuyuko pool - which i believe could be largely replaced by this tag, and only covers one of several spirit-eaters in this one series - alone has around 50 pictures; that's higher than eating_bugs, or eating clothes and eating panties combined(...guess I'm making a third thread.) That might also point to undertagging or possible low necessity of these other tags, but it's still worth looking at.
The latter I would probably call either eating_sentient_creatures or sentient_food. It's a much broader tag that could be used in a variety of contexts, and would probably even eclipse the most populated sub-tags of eating. It could even probably cover most (maybe not quite all) cases in the cannibalism tag, as well.
...Related to all that, is it possible to raise a poll like a BUR/Alias/implication request without it actually being one? maybe even allowing it to be approved by moderators?
