One of my posts I had to put a source request on that someone managed to find the original source that has a big enough size difference for an image replacement to be required. (Thank you, @henmere!)

Ah, I see. Well, this is awkward. Should I just go ahead and upload the versions from these sources and make them children to the other versions (when I have the slots to)? Either way, I'll leave the image replacing alone in this case.
I scraped the proper fullres images from the Wayback Machine and have uploaded them with post numbers here: https://litter.catbox.moe/wb4d28.7z If I should upload them somewhere else first lemme know.

post #5280933 is already the full size (it isn't bad id), and post #4895973 isn't from twitter at all. This does not inspire confidence.
I think post #4839269 and post #4763405 can also be ignored then, as those are from their new account, so I had just included those on accident. post #4162649 can also be ignored since it's from Niconico Seiga.
Okay, I'm looking at that whole post list now and I do see several of those were reuploads on Tumblr and other sites, but I do have the originals from Twitter which are higher res, but again those are since deleted. How should I proceed? Everything with third-party_source should just get uploaded again and parented to the new upload, and the actual Twitter posts are the ones that get replaced?

You should have looked at the whole list before you submitted it. I don't have any confidence in it, so I will leave it to anyone else.

Sorry for the trouble. I wasn't aware of that search syntax until you had posted the link either so I'll keep that in mind for next time, will make not repeating the same mistake a lot easier.
Posts with replacement records are not listed here since their old source link can be found in moderation history. Thus, just replace p3-bcy-sign with p3-bcy and replace the text after the ~ with tplv-banciyuan-obj.image in the old link to get the full size link. I tried seven of these. No change in dimensions. Three had appreciable increases in filesize, at least, but four were basically unchanged there, too, so I'm still not sure about mass replacements.

They are just different filesize and have been checked later. Compelety same images were ignored and all "basically unchanged" (pixel-perfect duplicate, 13 posts in total) has marked md5_mismatch in the following list. Same with posts listed above. Feel free to skip them. If you mind the filesize, not only the same pixel hash, I can filter out posts that filesize differs by a certain value.
