The artist uploads three steps of their work, lineart, colored and finished. If you upload them all, only the finished artwork might get approved.

Why did my latest upload (Ivy from Fire Emblem) get deleted? Was it the quality? The dimensions? It couldn't be the craft of the art itself could it?

If it the sources being problematic then I can explain, the first post comes from a game extract from someone who worked at phigros and uploaded the file to FANDOM wiki. The second post is a thumbnail of the bilibili video that is provided by the artist themselves but wasn't uploaded by them directly.

The two other posts look fine to me, but Megami magazine art isn't always good, in my honest opinion it's even just "okay" in the best cases, and those three posts are far below other megami magazine posts i've seen, not gonna lie

in other words the drawing clearly has the look of someone who's at the beginning of their learning process, it's not too bad but i'd be surprised if their art gets approved on here before getting better at some fundamentals like coloring (right now it looks like they're shading with simple white and black, among other things) and overall getting more used to a workflow that lets them pull stuff that looks more polished

They are not unfinished, and don't have any duplicate.

Maybe it’s better to ask a direct question. Will uploading images too frequently lead to a low pass rate for posts?

approval/deletion isn’t affected by frequency. you can upload an infinite number of images and if approvers like them enough they’ll be approved an infinite number of times.
