agreed, however i think there could be some merit in having a tag like bare_bedframe or empty_bedframe for the sake of posts such as post #6238154

It's a tag that's used when you can actually see the frame of the bed.
Which is actually a very rare thing since either's it's a view from above, cropped or a daki (also from above). I'd rather keep this tag.

I'd argue that in most cases if you can't see any part of the frame of the bed you probably can't say for sure that it is a bed (as opposed to e.g. a futon or a mattress on the floor).
See this clause from the bed wiki:

Use this tag only if the bed is clearly there rather than implied

Based on the definitions it seems to me that bed and bed_frame would be overlapping to a very high degree, and I don't much value in catering for the few cases where you can somehow determine there's a bed without any visible frame.
