Vocaloid Append

I noticed we have a tag for Append versions of Vocaloids, and tags for specific Vocaloid appends:

• Hatsune Miku (Append)
• Kagamine Rin (Append)
• Kagamine Len (Append)
• Megurine Luka (Append)
• Meiko (Append)
• Yowane Haku (Append)
• Kaito (Append)
• SeeU (Append)
• Kagamine Lenka (Append)
• Zatsune Miku (Append)

Only the first four (Miku, Rin, Len, Luka) tags imply vocaloid_append (probably because they're old; currently char -> gen implications are impossible), but only the first three tags are actually official versions/voicebanks of those characters (Miku, Rin, Len). Luka, Meiko, Kaito and SeeU are fanmade designs, while Haku, Lenka and Zatsune are fanloids in the first place.

Most of those character append tags aren't proper chartags.

What should we do with both Vocaloid_Append and those unofficial character tags?
I mean, as far as I'm aware, Kancolle's catch-all Remodel tag was nuked in favor of more specific character tags, but I'm not sure if this is the correct course of action here, given the amount of fan-Appends.

Another note:

• Post count for -hatsune_miku_(append) vocaloid_append -kagamine_*n_(append): 99
• Post count for -hatsune_miku_(append) vocaloid_append -kagamine_*n_(append) (~hatsune_miku ~kagamine_*n): 56
• Post count for -hatsune_miku_(append) vocaloid_append -kagamine_*n_(append) -(~hatsune_miku ~kagamine_*n): 43

My opinion is that all the *_(append) tags should be character tags, and vocaloid append should just be nuked, not that you can’t use a wildcard. Same goes for the v4x tag, the designs aren’t even that similar.
Vocaloid (Lat-type ver), Vocaloid (Sour-type ver), Vocaloid (Tda-type ver), Vocaloid (YYB-type ver) are more debatable.

Someone should add the missing tags to vocaloid_append -*_(append) and v4x -*_(vocaloid4) before this.
I'm not familiar with the alternate designs so someone else please.

Done. All that's left are adapted costume and fanmade matching outfits, my question is do they deserve their own tag despite no design consistency since they're fanmade (like Megurine Luka (append), SeeU (append), Zatsune Miku (append)), or are cosplay (I already put the obvious cosplays under Hatsune Miku (append) (cosplay)), adapted costume, matching outfit, parody etc enough?

p.s. The current two usage of matching outfit should be split, but I never got to actual open a topic for it.
