hair blush/blush visible through hair

These appear to be the same thing.

As to which one we alias, I'm fine with going either way. hair blush is older (2018-01 vs 2021-03) and shorter, while blush visible through hair has more than twice as many posts and is more descriptive.

My first thought was to agree with this, but looking at the posts in the two tags, I'm not sure they're exactly the same. Hair blush is a pretty specific trope which is well described by its wiki page. A blush on the back of a character's head is a classic example. Blush visible through hair is vaguer and/or broader, and plenty of posts that currently have the tag (post #4862199, for example) are normal blushes that are partly drawn over hair but also (or primarily) appear normally on the face. If it's going to be used like that, aliasing it to hair blush would dilute the more specific tag, which currently refers more clearly to blushes drawn exclusively over hair.
