BUR #15612 has been rejected.
remove alias pierced -> piercing
create alias pierced -> impaled
I couldn't find impaled.
I can't find when the piercing alias was done, but piercing_* aliases appear when searching for it, and piercing appears on pierc*, so it's not really needed.
I was considering making two different aliases, but I couldn't figure out decent qualifiers.

Piercing is for jewelry, impaled is for serious bodily injury very different things. The wording and aliases make sense right now, changing it could lead to confusion.

If it were actually that simple, this BUR wouldn't exist. Pierced can be used for being injured as well. Instead of an alias it should be deprecated and used for disambiguation.
if we want to be greedy, a pierced_(injury) alias to impaled maybe, but personally i really dont think it is needed at all
