Change the Boku no Hero Academia characters to their Hero Names

Ok, as mentioned earlier, I rejected all but forum #192479 because that was the only really non-controversial one and easily verifiable by google. I rejected them to unclog the pipes and because realistically they were just gonna rot until autorejection otherwise.

To recap:

  • don't try to do multiple things at once, like adding qualifiers and switching from real name to hero name for 40 characters at once if half of them are referred to more as their hero name than real name while the other half is the opposite.
    • don't try to do OPPOSITE things at once either: if I see four different BURs for four different approaches to the same problem, I'm not going to pick one of them because it's impossible to tell which one people want
  • submit the least controversial first, ONLY those and wait for the BUR for that to go through before moving on to the next one, otherwise it's really hard to follow a discussion where there's four different arguments going on

I don't really get the first point, when there was no BUR that did exactly that? The hero to real name ones already were in a different topic and Kendou Rappa was the only one that was also non-controversial with only one pick from hero to real. (And you still rejected it?)
Even if you say "wait, it had two downvotes on it?", you could also argue, that no one gave a damn about the one you approved, because it was submitted right when I submitted my last BUR, so of course less people see it.
Even more, all the BURs worked on making Real to Hero name to stay consistent.

Point two: There are no non- other controversial ones. Every BUR from now will have the same output like that, because there are still the ones that agree with qualifiers and those that don't. Even if you take the last BUR, it was still completely split, with three against three. How will there ever be any consensus about it?

// Even more: Now it got already kinda ruined with the one approved BUR, because I do believe, that if we go one way, we should go it all. Either makes Hero to Real names or the opposite. The opposite is now not possible, because one already got approved and the one you approved had a not so famous and a really famous person in it. Just my personal opinion, but w/e.
Additionally, you approved one who was still in the question of yes or no to the qualifier.

But to complete it: There is really (kinda) no other way to makes those BURs. If I create the first one again, it will still get the same result in the end. People not liking it because qualifiers or none; people not liking it, because they aren't sure what the better approach would be and people not liking it, because we should use hero AND real names. If I make the second BUR, it will be the same again etc.

The main issue is that BURs do not have an edit history, so it's impossible to keep track of the changes properly.
You did several changes to the BURs, but it's not uncommon for users to do drive-by voting without checking for new developments.

Take for example the opening post: it has 7 downvotes and 3 upvotes. The other BURs are in a similar state. We cannot tell whether those votes are from the first draft, or if the people who downvoted still disagree with the BUR, or if people agree with the later additions, and I do not feel comfortable in accepting a BUR that at a glance looks like it is not favored by most of the community, nor do I think evazion would've gone through with it either in that state. This is why these large BURs often fail, because they keep getting edited as the discussion progresses and in the end nobody can tell whether the end result is satisfactory.

So yes, I think you should resubmit them for a final round of voting in their final state so that we can actually see people's opinion.

I think this thread would've worked better with the proposing of a draft first, so people could've suggested edits first before the round of voting, because otherwise it invariably turns into a mess (we've seen this happen many times with fate).

I just have to add, because I forgot to mention it, that I already knew that they gonna fail and I was only waiting for evazion (now you) to reject them, so I can make a new one. So, no bad blood about this.
The only thing I don't agree with is going the same path again, because I don't believe it will be better from this on, which is why I thought about going the Hero to Real name path. With the already approved BUR it's kinda meh now.

I don't think it makes sense for us to pick real name for heroes because nobody really refers to them as such. We already had this discussion about mirko in topic #16767. If we must have hero names with qualifiers I think it's preferable to real names without qualifiers, if nobody can recognize the real names.
