Do we normally make character tags for inanimate objects? If kobeni's car really needs its own tag, shouldn't it be general?

Apparently even the copyright treats the car as a character. I remember that in a character popularity poll, Kobeni's car was higher than even Kobeni herself...
What I really think is questionable here is the unnecessary qualifier.
I don't know how Shueisha runs its polls, but looking at the results of the two polls that have been held so far, there's a handful of strange choices, like Aki's cigarette being 23rd in the second poll. I'm not sure if it's still done this way, but anime magazines used to hold their polls by having fans send in post cards with the name of their favorite character. On more than a few occasions this resulted in random side characters that only appeared in a single panel getting enough votes to be worth mentioning when the results are revealed, because you could vote for literally anyone.
I'm not familiar enough with chainsaw man to know how prone the series is to memeing inanimate objects, or if that's just a fan thing, but I can't find any evidence of the car actually being treated like a character outside of those polls. Certainly not enough for us to be treating it like a character, just because it's become a meme for fans.

If Takumi's AE86 or the tanks in GuP are treated with gentags I think Kobeni's car should be a gentag as well.
Takumi's 86 has a chartag (Fujiwara Takumi's Toyota Trueno AE86), but the GuP tanks don't.
